Brookridge Retirement Community - This five story addition provided much needed space for the Winston-Salem, NC retirement facility. The existing structure was load-bearing masonry and cast-in-place concrete flat slab construction. However, for ease and speed of construction, the addition is steel-framed with 3"-18 gage composite steel deck with lightweight concrete fill.
