Furnitureland South, Inc. - A five story, 500,000 square foot furniture showroom in Jamestown, NC. The lower level consists of parking and shipping areas, while the upper four levels are dedicated to showroom space. The structural systems are composite steel floor beams and steel beam roof framing. Lateral loads are resisted by diagonal tube steel braced frames. The foundations are end-bearing drilled concrete caissons bearing on rock.

A large-scale replica of a "classic Philadelphia highboy" adorns the showroom. The chest of drawers stands over 80 feet high, complete with mouldings, brass hardware, and ball and claw feet. Read more about this unique feature by clicking here.
